A 26-year-old Eastern graduate has captured that EIU-style fleeting
spoonful-of-sugar taste of fame many alumni get before crashing into oblivion.

Along with singing the song, Martin also worked with someone who actually worked with real famous people, Martin said in an Oct. 29 article in The Daily Eastern News.
"My education at Eastern has helped me learn to deal with people," Martin said, not yet realizing that her contact with Eastern has poisoned any chance at future fame.
Martin claims there is a debut album coming on the RCA label, which means she could be performing at a Parents' Weekend concert in, say, three years?
